Those who wish to study under Professors of Mechanical Engineering(Multiscale Mechanical Design) must make sure to apply for Mechanical Engineering(Multiscale Mechanical Design), NOT Mechanical Engineering. (Unable to change after application is submitted)
Admission Process – Interview and Oral Exam
  Graduate Course Admission Process
Early-Year / Late-Year Recruitment Master’s / Combined Master’s & Doctoral Interview and oral exam about the applicant’s field of study * Advanced questions on the subjects may be asked during the exam. – Mechanical Engineering majors: Oral exam on 1 or 2 subjects chosen by the applicant from core Mechanical Engineering courses (e.g. The 4 types of dynamics) – Other majors: Oral exam on engineering mathematics and general physics
