SNU Department of Mechanical Engineering - National Tsing Hua University Power Mechanical Engineering Joint Workshop

On August 20th, 2024, the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Seoul National University (SNU) and the Department of Power Mechanical Engineering (PME) at National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) in Taiwan held a joint workshop at Seoul National University's Building 301.
The workshop was attended by 12 faculty members from the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Seoul National University, including the department head, and 13 faculty members from the Department of Power Mechanical Engineering of National Tsing Hua University, including their department head. The event aimed to enhance technical exchange and cooperation between the two universities.
The day began with a morning tour of various laboratories. The participants visited about eight labs, observing research activities firsthand and sharing insights into the research infrastructure and experimental environments of both universities. In the afternoon, research presentations followed, where discussions were held on technical and experimental exchanges, possibilities for joint research, and strategies for international collaboration.
The workshop concluded with a dinner, strengthening the relationships between the faculty members of the two institutions. This event is expected to establish a closer cooperative relationship and lay the foundation for future joint research and educational programs between the two universities.
