.제 목 : Vertical Jump: From Biomechanical Analysis To Robotic Application
.연 사 : Dr. Jan Babic(Jozef Stefan Institute Slovenia)
.일 시 : 2007년 2월 27일 (화) 11:00 ~ 12:00
.장 소 : 301동 1512호
.내 용 : We propose a new human inspired structure of the lower extremity mechanism by which a humanoid robot will be able to efficiently perform explosive movements such as running and jumping. We performed an extensive biomechanical analysis of the human vertical jump. We built a dynamic model of the humanoid robot and evaluated the influence of the timing of the biarticular muscle activation and its elastic properties on the vertical jump performance. Based on the biomechanical analysis and simulation study, we designed and built a human inspired robotic mechanism capable of performing fast movements such as vertical jumping and long jumping. In this seminar we present the research process from the biomechanical analysis to the design of the robotic mechanism and discuss some challenges of designing a motion controller for different explosive movements.
6. 연사약력 : Dr. Jan Babic is a research scientist in the Department of Automatics, Biocybernetics and Robotics at the Jozef Stefan Institute, Ljubljana, Slovenia. He is currently spending the 2006-2007 year as a visiting scientist at the Humanoid Robotics and Computational Neuroscience Group of the Advanced Telecommunications Research Institute, Japan.
