1. 제 목 : Future Directions in Internal Combustion Engine Research
2. 연 사 : Prof. Dennis N. Assanis
Chair, Department of Mechanical Engineering
Jon R. and Beverly S. Holt Professor of Engineering
College of Engineering, The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor
3. 일 시 : 2002년 7월 15일 (월) 14:30 – 15:30
4. 장 소 : 서울대 정밀기계설계공동연구소 국제회의실(136동 1215호)
5. 내 용 :
During his seminar, Professor Assanis will present an overview of his group’s research efforts to advance our fundamental understanding of fuel energy conversion processes through theoretical analysis and innovative experimentation. This understanding is captured into models of varying levels of fidelity appropriate for component design, integration and system optimization. Examples of current research that will be highlighted include the direct injection stratified charge engine, the near zero emissions direct injection diesel engine, the homogeneous charge compression ignition engine, as well as the engine-vehicle integration activities of the Automotive Research Center.
6. 약 력 :
Professor, the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in the fall of 1994
Ph.D. degree in Power and Propulsion from MIT (1985).
S.M. degree in Management from MIT's Sloan School of Management (1986);
S.M. degrees in Naval Architecture and Mechanical Engineering, MIT(1982);
B.Sc. degree in Marine Engineering from Newcastle University, England;
7. 문 의 : 민 경덕 교수(Tel. 880-1661)
