ArvinMeritor, Inc. is a premier $7.7-billion global supplier of a broad range of integrated systems, modules and components to the transportation industry. The company serves light vehicle, commercial truck, trailer and specialty original equipment manufacturers and related aftermarkets. In addition, ArvinMeritor is a leader in coil coating applications, including those for the transportation, appliance, construction and furniture industries. Headquartered in Troy, Mich., the company employs 36,000 people at more than 150 manufacturing facilities in 26 countries. ArvinMeritor Exhaust System is the leading vehicle exhaust system OEM. Advanced Engineering is its core R&D center located in Columbus, Indiana. The objective of Advanced Engineering is to provide state of art technology in vehicle exhaust system design and analysis. The department consists of NVH, Emission, Durability, and Experimental mechanics. Our research focuses on developing a complete virtual environment providing fully integrated modeling and experimental validation. It includes dynamic model development and correlation, web-based vehicle mapping data base development, and instrumented vehicle testing. The approaches and achievements of the technical activities will be presented in this seminar.
This seminar is focused on the manifold & Air2Air development.
6. 약 력 :
Dr. Hanjun Kim is the Director of Advanced Engineering of ArvinMeritor, Inc. He received his BS from the Seoul National University, South Korea and MS and PhD from Purdue University in Mechanical Engineering. He is responsible for world-wide advanced engineering at both of its two major technical centers, one in Columbus, IN and the other in Watron, UK.
