Seoul National University and Hyundai Motor Company·Kia pledged Joint Development of Automation and Digital Manufacturing Solutions
On May 13, 2025, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed at Seoul National University between the Institute of Advanced Machines and Design (Director: Professor Ahn, Sung Hoon) and the E-FOREST Center under the Manufacturing Solutions Division of Hyundai Motor Company·Kia (Center Director: Executive Director Lee, Jaemin).
During the event, Professors Ahn Sung Hoon, Lee Howon, Yang Jinkyu, Lee Dongjun, Park Yong-Lae, Kim Do-Nyun, Yoon Byeng Dong participated and presented their latest research related to manufacturing collaboration with Hyundai Motor Company·Kia. They also discussed practical approaches for potential cooperation.
With this MOU, close collaboration is expected between the Institute of Advanced Machines and Design and the E-FOREST Center of Hyundai Motor Company·Kia for the development of smart factories utilizing automation and digital manufacturing solutions.
