A review paper entitled as “Smart Factory Transformation Using Industry 4.0 toward ESG Perspective: A Critical Review and Future Direction” (co-author: Kim Hyung-joong, Jeon Young-jun, Jeong Gu-yeop, Lee Gyu-hwa, Jeong Su-hwan, Yoon Won-jae, Park Soo-young, and Ahn Sung-hoon) submitted by Professor Sung-Hoon Ahn’s research team to IJPEM-ST (International Journal of Precision Engineering and Manufacturing-Smart Technology), an international journal of the Korean Society of Precision Engineering, were selected as Editor-in-Chief's Choice. This paper systematically analyzed the core technologies of smart factories from an ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management perspective and forecasted future smart factories.
