At the NAACst STEP Final Day, a startup acceleration program held by SNU's student-led non-profit accelerator SNAAC (Start-up Network And Accelerating Club) December 17^th, the Metafarmers team of the Department of Mechanical Engineering (Professor Ahn Sung-hoon) won the first prize and received 50 million wons.
Founded by Kyu-hwa Lee, Won-jae Yoon, Do-hyun Kim, and Ye Jin Yu, the Metafarmers team developed smart farm remote agricultural robots and solutions that aims to solve the serious manpower shortage in rural areas and create new added value.
