The Department of Mechanical Engineering held a brief meeting to discuss some concerns and opinions from international students in undergraduate and graduate schools preparing guidebooks for international students and researchers. The meeting was conducted by an undergraduate student, Kareem Khaleel, who is in charge of working a guide book, and 8 other students and Dean Sung-Hoon Ahn have organized the contents with sharing necessary information helping students to adapt to Seoul National University life. Many feedbacks were given such as specifying the culture of Korea that international students had difficulties with, arranging the benefits they could receive, establishing a contact point between exchange students and also with the department office. The table of contents of the guidebook is as follows, and it is planned to be distributed in March.
