Although it is a difficult time due to the corona virus, the scientific world is constantly seeking new discoveries and truths.

In the meantime, the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Seoul National University has also achieved remarkable results, but it was a disappointment that it did not reach the general public easily.

Against this background, from this year, the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Seoul National University has planned a new lecture series (Christmas lecture, heldce in December every year) as follows so that good research in the Department of Mechanical Engineering can be communicated to the general public.

< Christmas Lecture, Dept. Mech. Eng., Seoul National Univ., 2021 >

                                                         -The first lecture-

1) Lecture Title: "My Mechanics-Based Design Story - Rebellion of Common Sense and Intuition"

2) Speaker: Yoon Young Kim Distinguished Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Seoul National University

3) Date: December 15, 2021, 4:00 PM.

4) Venue: Seoul National University 301, Room 118 or Zoom Address: 835 3531 5702 (no password)
