Titled “Broadband Piezoelectric Energy Harvesting Using Multiple Defect Band in Phononic Bandgap,” the thesis analyzed how single defect bands become separated by ductile deformation process when the elastic metamaterial with phononic bandgap obtains multiple defects. It was also acknowledged for suggesting a technology for broadband piezoelectric energy harvesting using multi-resonance.
