Professor Changdon Ki complements the limits of the national NDGPS systems towards a futuristic direction and has continuously led the development of Korean WA-DGNSS systems to better utilize the national infra known as NDGPS. Through research development on this sector, he contributed greatly towards an independent WA-DGNSS system for Korea through development of core algorisms and demo-system builds. Additionally, through research on precise localization through satellite navigation systems, he has improved convenience for naval, land and aircraft users, along with the development of portable GPS services and securing of the tech to provide the service.
