Masters students Sungkyung Woo, Dong Uk Kam, Sung Jae Jang and Dr Seung Yeob Baek of Professor Kun Woo Lee’s Human CAD lab claimed Bronze in the software category of the 15^th CAD/CAM Competition with the research titled “Lego CAD : Voxel Data Generation of 2D & 3D Mesh Models and Conversion Program Using Lego Algorithm”. Also, Masters students Jeong Hwan Lee, Dae Wook Kim and Dr. Seung Yeob Baek received the consolation prize in the software category with the research titled “SNU Homestyler”. “Lego CAD” was recognized for the interesting fact that it allows us to take any object and help make it with Legos provided the 3D data is available. “SNU Homestyler” was recognized for its potential application in industrial and commercial sectors. <?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

The prize ceremony was held last 21^st of August during the Korea CAD/CAM 2^nd Half Conference in Muju.
