The Office of International Affairs prepares anline group application for your Residence Card, a formerly ARC, and extension of the period of stay, so please read the guideline and apply within the period.
※ We highly recommend group application because individual application to the Immigration Office has been severely restricted under the COVID19 circumstances
1. Application Period
A. Residence Card (RC)
- First round: 2.13.(Mon) ~ 2.22.(Wed) (Entry by March 1st is required)
- Second round: 2.27.(Mon) ~ 3.10.(Fri)
B. Extension of Period of Stay: 2.20.(Mon) ~ 3.12.(Sun)
C. Change of Status of Residence: 2.7.(Tue) ~ 2.17.(Fri)
- A new RC must be issued for the change of Status of Residence, so please submit your current RC to OIA by visit or post (SNU University Cultural Center Bldg.73 Room 209)
- Deadline: ~2.18.(Fri), come by the office between 10:00~17:00 (12:00~13:00 Lunch)
2. Precautions
- Applications for applications through individual visits to immigration offices are restricted. individual applications for international students are avoided for quick processing at immigration and group applications through schools are actively recommended.
- Imposing a fine for international students who did not proceed with foreign registration within 90 days of entering the country, converting their status as illegal aliens. If the relevant fact (reason: foreign registration deadline is omitted) is omitted, a warning letter is disposed of to the school.
- If you continue to study after the expiration of the period of stay for international students, a fine for international students will be imposed, and a warning letter will be issued to the school if the report of changes in the relevant fact (reason: period of stay) is omitted.
