5. 내 용 : Development of high-sensitive biosensing systems have interested in the areas of biomedical diagnostics, genetic disease, drug discovery, and biotechnology. For the advance of analytical microchips, it is essential to develop a highly sensitive and reliable detection scheme for minute quantities of biomaterials. The essential condition for producing a high-sensitive and high-specific analytic biosensor is to prepare immobilized probing biomaterials with a good coverage in geometry to minimize nonspecific bindings. Recently, liposomes (lipid vesicles) have attracted great scientific interests as models for biological membranes. Especially, a specific array of capture antibody that maintains its bio-reactivity is a critical milestone for applications of future immunosensors because immobilization is based on very specific interaction between the immobilized ligand and its counterpart. In this talk, I will present some recent developments made in our laboratory regarding immobilization of liposomes and its applications to electrochemical nano-bio sensing devices.
