Seoul National University Department of Mechanical Engineering Graduates First Class of Tanzanian ATC Bachelor's Program

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Seoul National University, in collaboration with Hanyang University, iTEC, and E3Empower through the International Cooperation Leading University Program funded by the Korean Research Foundation and the Ministry of Education, celebrated the graduation of 26 students, the first graduates of the Mechatronics and Materials Engineering bachelor's program established at the Arusha Technical College in Tanzania in 2000. The ceremony was held on December 5th.
Additionally, with the support of this program and the SNU Vision Center, PhD candidate Song Ho-Won’s doctoral research team, through regional development activities, established a solar-powered well smart management system, completed the smart electric motorcycle project, and upgraded the smart grid. These efforts are recognized as significant technological contributions to the sustainable development of the Tanzanian region.
