5. 내 용 :
Combustion instabilities have become significant operational problems in many applications from aerospace propulsion systems and gas turbines operating in the premixed mode. Most of these instabilities involve resonant coupling between the rate of combustion-generated heat release and acoustic waves in the combustor. Over the last decade, substantial efforts have been made in the industrial, government and academic communities to understand and suppress combustion dynamics in gas turbines. The objective of this presentation is to summary some of results that address various aspects of the problem, including mechanisms and characterization of instabilities, combustion dynamics modeling and various control approaches.
