MBT Space, Missiles and Systems is a group in Israel Aircraft Industries (IAI), which is one of the leading edge in technologies company in the world and the largest industrial organization in this area at Israel. IAI is fully owned by the Israeli government. MBT space is the space house of Israel and has an extensive experience in this area. This experience contains, designing and manufacturing GEO and LEO satellites, integrating and testing it, radar payload manufacturing and total integration of the space segment, launching it, and control it. So far IAI/MBT has lunched various types of satellites and under few contracts to launch few more satellites in the coming years.


IAI/MBT is world leader in SAR products, like: pod SAR for fighters, airborne SAR for inelegance aircrafts, SAR for UAV, maritime patrol radars and fighter fire control radars for SAR. All together hundreds of SAR were produced by IAI for large variety of applications.


The SAR satellite called TECSAR and it is in integration phase at IAI facilities. The TECSAR is an observation satellite with SAR payload on board of it. It is being characterized by low weight, mechanical and electronic agility resulting in excellent performance.
