1. 제 목 : Data Acquisition System Development :
NASA Projects at University of North Dakota
2. 연 사 : Prof. Chang-Hee Won
Dept. of Electrical Engineering, University of North Dakota, USA
3. 일 시 : 2002년 6월 5일 (수) 16:00 - 17:00
4. 장 소 : 서울대 신공학관(301동) 117호 세미나실
5. 내 용 :
University of North Dakota Engineering and the Upper Midwest Aerospace
Consortium are performing the following multidisciplinary NASA-supported aerospace
engineering projects. In this seminar, the status and technical details of the two
projects will be discussed.
AEROCam (Airborne Environmental Research Observational Camera): This project
involves designing and building a multispectral remote sensing system to be placed
onboard UND aircraft, in order to acquire very high resolution images. The integration
of GPS and inertial navigation system (INS) information will allow for the mapping of
digital imagery pixels onto true latitude and longitude coordinates.
AgCam (Agricultural Camera) for the International Space Station: A high resolution
two band imaging system is being designed for the International Space Station in
collaboration with NASA Johnson Space Center. The main application is to assess
vegetation health in the upper Midwest region. AgCam system will consist of two band
digital imaging subsystem, pointing control subsystem, ground control subsystem,
and vibration isolation subsystems.
6. 약 력 :

1992 M.S.E.E., Electrical Engineering, University of Notre Dame, USA
1994 Ph.D., Electrical Engineering, University of Notre Dame, USA
1995 ~ 2000 Senior Research Engineer, ETRI, Korea
2000 ~ present Assistant Professor, University of North Dakota, USA
