1. 제 목 : A Strain Invariant Failure Theory for Composite Materials (SIFT)
2. 연 사 : Jon Gosse, Ph.D., PE Phantom Works-Structures Technology The Boeing Co.
3. 일 시 : 2001년 11월 12일(월) 16:00
4. 장 소 : 301동 1512호
5. 내 용 : A failure theory for composite materials is presented that addresses the general condition in structural applications. The general condition in- cludes all possible boundary conditions, loading conditions, geometric configurations and lamina stacking sequences. The theory is supported with a minimal set of effective critical lamina properties extracted from
a small set of test coupons and the finite element method. The validity
of the theory is demonstrated through the simulation of failure in
complex laminates such as angle-ply laminates (matrix load path) and
open-hole tension (fiber load path).
