.제목:DESIGN OF STACKING SEQUENCES OF LAMINATES TO ATTAIN GIVEN STIFFNESSES
.연사:Georges Verchery (University of Burgundy, France)
.일시:2000년 8월 16일 (수요일) 오후 3시
.장소:301동 1512호
.내용:
The polar representation method for plane elastic tensors, proposed by the author in various papers(from 1979 to 1999), provides an efficient way to write the constitutive equations of the classical laminated plate theory. Specially, it gives easily the conditions to satisfy in order to have definite symmetries in the stiffnesses, such as orthotropy, square symmetry, isotropy, zero coupling, etc. Further, these conditions are written in a form which allows an inverse problem approach, such as designing laminates for orthotropy, isotropy, quasi-homogeneity, etc. Although the equations to solve are non-linear, it is possible to find particular solutions. As a large number of solutions is obtained, they can be considered as convenient enough for practical purpose. In the presentation, the general analysis will be outlined and examples will be given.
