[STAR LECTURE] Invited Lecture by Professor Christian Brecher from RWTH Aachen University

On July 7th, at Room 105 in Building 301 of Seoul National University, a STAR LECTURE was hosted featuring Professor Christian Brecher, Director of the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology (IPT) and Head of the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) of RWTH Aachen University. Professor Brecher, a globally respected scholar known for authoritative publications in fields such as mechanical systems, automation technology, and data analytics, delivered an insightful lecture on the interplay between sustainable production systems and the Internet. The lecture focused on understanding machine system diagnostics, process monitoring, human-machine interaction, and control and automation within the sustainable production.
