Professor Hae-Cheon Choi of our department was selected as ‘Mechanical Person of the Year’. Professor Hae-cheon Choi is an innovative researcher in the field of turbulence prediction and control.
He presented research results and was evaluated as leading global research.
 
On the 10th, the Korea Machinery Industry Association hosted a commemorative event for 'Machine Day' at the JW Marriott Hotel in Banpo-dong, Seoul, where the award was presented.
The event was was jointly organized by the Capital Goods Mutual Aid Association, Korea Federation of Mechanical Engineering Societies, Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials, Korea Institute of Industrial Technology, Korea Aerospace Research Institute and the Korea Railroad Research Institute. Approximately 200 key figures from the government, machinery industry, academia, and research circles attended the event.
