At the SNU Venture Builder networking event held January 10th, PYLONEER (formerly Pylon) won first prize and received 15 million won in commercialization support. PYLONEER was selected as a start-up team for the SNU Venture Builder program, a start-up program at the Siheung Campus of Seoul National University, which was held from October to December with the theme of electric vehicle charging service. Through this, it was highly praised for its rapid growth, such as attracting investment from various venture investment companies, producing prototypes with support for commercialization of the program, and was awarded the first prize.
Meanwhile, PYLONEER is a spin-off startup co-founded by researchers Bae Seung-hwan, Jung Gu-yeop, and Lim Hyuk-soon from the laboratory of Professor Ahn Seong-hoon of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and aims to develop and distribute intelligent power distribution services that maximize power infrastructure efficiency.
