On July 2, the start-up team PYLON in SNU ME was awarded first place prize with 50 million won at the Dream Valley Demo day, a start-up acceleration program held by SNU&Ventures.
Founded by Bae Seung-hwan(MS Candidate), Im Hyuck-soon(MS Candidate), and Jung Guyeop(Ph.D. Candidate), PYLON has developed a residential electric vehicle charging/paying platform using a power meter that measures power consumption.
Bae, leader of Team PYLON, said "PYLON is a student start-up team that aims to provide electric vehicle charging as an essential service. The issue of charging electric vehicles is becoming a problem, and many people sympathized with it, so I think our PYLON team won first place in Dream Valley. As much as you expected, we will become a PYLON team that solves charging infrastructure problems easier and quicker."
SNU&Ventures, which hosted the event, is running a Dream Valley acceleration program sponsored by Primer Sazze Partners, Atinum Investment, Dunamu & Partners, Kakao Ventures, IMM Investment, Murex Partners, Base Investment, VEAT Law Firm, and Seoul Techno Holdings, inc.
