Professor Kyu-Jin Cho, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Seoul National University was selected as the recipient of the '2021 Seoul National University Academic Research and Education Award (Research Division)'. Starting with the establishment of the Human-Centered Soft Robot Technology Research Center in 2016, Seoul National University Professor Kyu-Jin Cho has published the world’s first researches such as glove-type software-type robots that help the hand of the disabled, and research transforming wheel mechanisms, in renowned scientific journals in the field of robotics, including Science and Science Robotics journals. In recognition of his contributions to publications, etc., he has received numerous awards such as the Young Researcher Award, the Industrial Technology Award-Minister Award, the Top 10 Machinery Technology, and the Korea Robotics Society KRI. Based these outstanding research achievements in the field of robotics, he was selected as the recipient of the 2021 Seoul National University Academic Research and Education Award.
