Dr. Park Chan-hee of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Seoul National University's Laboratory for System Health & Risk Management (Advisor Professor Byeng Dong Yoon, PhD) won the Best Presentation Award at the International Conference Energy, Aquatech and Sustainability 2021 (ICEAS 2021), heldline from August 11 (Wed) to 13 (Fri), 2021.
Dr. Park Chan-hee's thesis title is "Anovel Deep Learning-Based Fault Diagnostics of a Servo Motor Under Non-Stationary Conditions," which presents a new deep learning-based methodology for diagnosing faults of servo motors. Unlike commonly used end-to-end deep learning-based failure diagnosis techniques, the excellence of the study was recognized in that it could contribute to confirming the justification and securing reliability after model training by allocating fault-related components to input data learned by deep learning.
