On March 13^th, Professor Haecheon Choi of Mechanical Engineering was appointed as the Advisory Member of the Presidential Advisory Council on Science and Technology.

Prof. Choi is one of the most outstanding academics in mechanical engineering, with an extensive knowledge in university policies. He also serves as senior vice president of the Korean Society of Mechanical Engineers.

The Presidential Advisory Council on Science and Technology, created for the innovation of sciences and technology, is a council directly under the President, who is the chairperson. The 3^rd Moon Jae-in Government Council aims to play a major role in forming science and technology policies related to national welfare and innovative growth.

Advisory Members are active for a 1-year term.
