Prof. Byeng Dong Youn Elected as President of the Korean Society for PHM

Professor Byeng Dong Youn of SNU Dept. of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering has been elected as the 2nd President of the Korean Society for PHM. Prof. Youn has served as the Senior Vice President, and now will be overseeing the organization as President from June 2019 to December 2012.
The Korean Society for PHM, founded in 2018, is the best academic organization in the field of PHM in Korea. Its regular activities include lectures to develop PHM leaders, forums in each subfield, and symposiums. In April 2019, it successfully held PHM Korea 2019.
In his inauguration speech, Prof. Youn introduced the ‘KSPHM Vision 2025,’ which included a sustainable and stable business model for the organization, and a vision to establish its role as a leading organization in the 4th Industrial Revolution towards a sustainable, innovative future society.
