OnePredict, a start-up company of Professor Byeng Dong Youn’s lab of the Dept. of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, introduced its first software brand ‘GuardiOne’ in a new video.
Using various data from machinery and equipment in process, GuardiOne predicts industry information which are essential for operation including fault analysis, fault type and location, and residual life.
The GuardiOne series consists of GuardiOne Turbine and GuardiOne Bearing, which provides information on turbine equipment and ball-and-roller bearings respectively.
Existing solutions relied on simple analysis and monitoring of industrial data, or data-based analysis methods. It was also difficult to explain why diagnosis results occurred the way they did.
However, OnePredict’s GuardiOne combines deep learning algorithm with physical understanding of machinery fault, able to provide status predictions with higher accuracy and cause analyses of data. It also allows for higher usability and lower fatigue by offering early stage self-learning functions and convenient, sophisticated user interface.
The video shows OnePredict’s philosophy and technology, and introduces an intuitive interface.
The GuardiOne series is already being examined by and supplied to well-known companies in Korea and international bearing companies. It is scheduled to be supplied to other Korean and international companies in the future.
“GuardiOne offers high accuracy and powerful analytical abilities,” said Prof. Youn. “This year, we plan on releasing the rest of the GuardiOne series, which can be utilized for all the major industry equipment such as robots, motors, transformers, and generators.”
