Industrial Information Prognosis Software

- Offering accurate prognosis of equipment health, data analysis, and cause analysis

-  Already verifying and supplying products to major companies and global bearing manufacturers

Prof. Byeng Dong Youn, SNU Dept. of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering

Seoul National University’s College of Engineering (Dean: Kookheon Char) announced that OnePredict, startup company of Professor Byeng Dong Youn (Dept. of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering) and his laboratory, is holding a product launch event for their first software ‘GuardiOne®’ at Gold Hall of Yangjae L Tower in Seoul on Jul 12 from 1pm to 5pm.

GuardiOne is a software that predicts essential information in managing facilities such as risk assessment of equipment breakdown, type and location of breakdown, and remaining life of equipment, using various data from industrial facilities.

During the launch event, GuardiOne series such as GuardiOne Bearing and GuardiOne Turbine will be showcased, prognosing industrial information about rolling contact bearing and turbine facilities respectively, both critical in all industrial facilities and power equipment.

Current solutions used for managing industrial facilities rely on simple analysis and monitoring based on industrial data, or data-based analysis methods. It is also difficult to pinpoint specific reasons to support the analysis results.

In contrast, OnePredict’s GuardiOne incorporates deep-learning algorithms with a physical understanding of equipment breakdown, offering incredibly accurate prognosis of equipment health along with data analysis and cause analysis. It also provides initial self-learning tutorials and a sophisticated, user-friendly interface, increasing its usability and reducing work fatigue of the user.

The GuardiOne series have already started the verification and supplying of products to big-name companies in Korea and global bearing manufacturers. The series is also going to be supplied to many Korean and international companies later on.

Prof. Youn commented that “GuardiOne is exceptionally accurate in its prognosis and analysis” and that “[OnePredict is] planning to release the GuardiOne series aimed at major industrial facilities such as robots, motors, transformers, and power generators throughout the second half of the year and early next year.”
