In arid regions, how do governments ensure the integrity of their food supply, both in terms of imports and livestock and fresh produce grown locally.

As populations rise, placing additional pressure on the food network and water requirements, alternative approaches to managing the food supply need to be developed.

This session discusses how governments, through working with local producers, can de-risk their supply chain and tackle food security.

Speakers include:

Professor Junghoon Lee, Telofarm

David Chen, Chairman - Equilibrium

Majid Al Qassimi, Director of Animal Health and Development Department - Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MoCCAE)
Maria van der Hoeven, Former minister of Economic Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Former Executive Director of the International Energy Agency (IEA)
