In the internoise 2017 international conference hosted by I-INCE (Hong Kong) from August 27 to 30, Prof. Lee Hyung-Rae in Professor Yeon June Kang’s lab "Optimizing the acoustic materials in vehicle components using SEA and global sensitivity analysis "and received the Young Professional Grant.

This study predicted the sound pressure in the car according to the change of the sound absorbing material applied to the vehicle through statistical energy analysis. In addition, the contribution of sound insulation performance of each part to the car interior noise was analyzed through the sensitivity analysis, and the direction of the application of the acoustic material to reduce the noise in the car was suggested.
