Professor Song Sung Jin was awarded the 2016 Nam Heon Academic Award by KSME. The Nam Heon Academic Award was established in to reward those who have contributed to the progress of the thermal fluid engineering sector through excellent achievements. Professor Sung Jin Song’s representative research includes the prediction of reserve symmetric flow excitation force which creates vibrations in the aerospace gas turbine engine’s axial compressors through analytical methods and research predicting abnormal turbulence speeds in the boundary layer through controlling the surface roughness and pressure gradients.
