Professor Byeng Dong Youn’s research team of the SNU Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering’s System Health and Risk Management Lab has claimed the Best Poster Award in the 2016 International Conference on Quality, Reliability, Risk, Maintenance, and Safety Engineering (QR2MSE) held in Jiuzhaigou, China from the 25th to 28th of July 2016 for the paper submitted last year, which was recognized for its originality and industrial excellence. The paper titled “Health Prognostics for Rotary Machines” was submitted and presented to the 2013 QR2MSE Committee which was then commended for the simple and easy-to-understand presentation of the technology and successful applications based on the experience and understanding of fault diagnostics and prediction of rotary machines.
