NANOSMAT is one of the prestigious global societies related to the nano sector and held the first Young Scientist’s Lecture Competition, which is continually gathering interest, during their 5^th Conference held in Reims, France in 2010. This competition which is held annually in their conference awards post grad scientists through a rigorous judging process of an abstract and presentation of their achievements in the nano-science and technology sector. Each presentation lasts 15 minutes and at least 3 questions are asked by the 3 judges in each presentation. In this competition, which rewards the first, second and third place winners with a small monetary prize and other gifts, Ph.D. Student Jun Kyu Choi and Masters Student Changve Chea of Professor Jung Hoon Lee’s lab managed to enter the finals, competing with 9 other participants from all over the world with Ph.D. student Jun Kyu Choi claiming 3^rd place. <?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
