Student Jun-Kyu Choi Claims the Bronze Award (3rd Place) in the NANOSMAT Young Scientist Lecture Competition.

NANOSMAT is one of the prestigious global societies related to the nano sector and held the first Young Scientist’s Lecture Competition, which is continually gathering interest, during their 5th Conference held in Reims, France in 2010. This competition which is held annually in their conference awards post grad scientists through a rigorous judging process of an abstract and presentation of their achievements in the nano-science and technology sector. Each presentation lasts 15 minutes and at least 3 questions are asked by the 3 judges in each presentation. In this competition, which rewards the first, second and third place winners with a small monetary prize and other gifts, Ph.D. Student Jun Kyu Choi and Masters Student Changve Chea of Professor Jung Hoon Lee’s lab managed to enter the finals, competing with 9 other participants from all over the world with Ph.D. student Jun Kyu Choi claiming 3rd place. <?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
