Ph.D. Student Chan Hoon Jung and Masters Student In Seon Noh of Professor Sang Joon Shin’s Smart Aeroelastics and Helicopter Lab has claimed the MOTIE Ministry Award 11^th KAI Paper Awards, part of the 2013 Seoul Aerospace and Defense Industry Exhibition held on the 30^th of October with their paper titled “AEROELASTIC ANALYSIS FOR A THREE-DIMENSIONAL STRUCTURALLY NONLINEAR WING WITH A CONTROL SURFACE “. Guidance Professor of the paper Sang Joon Shin also received the Guidance Professor Special Award. The KAI Paper Awards is one of the prestigious awards given out annually since 2003, organized by Korea Aero and funded by MOLIT and MOTIE.
