SNU revealed on the 27^th that from the 28^th onwards, SNU will be hosting 3 public lectures through the global online lecture service ‘EDX’.<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" />

EDX, a non profit organization set up in by Harvard and MIT, provides excellent lectures from 34 colleges to students and lecturers worldwide from an online platform and researches on the improvement of college lectures.

SNU signed an agreement with EDX last May and signed up with the name ‘SNUx’.

The lectures planned to be available are Mechanical and Aerospace Professor Frank Chong Woo Park’s ‘Robot Mechanics and Control, Part 1’, Politics and Foreign Affairs Professor Dong Joon Jo’s ‘International Politics in the Korean Peninsula, Part 1’ and Physics and Astronomy Professor Seonho Choi’s ‘Introductory Physics Part 1 :Mechanics and Waves”.

These lectures were recorded during the regular 1^st semester courses and are available on the EDX homepage (www.edx.org/course-list) and the SNU Homepage (www.edx.orsnux).

Students taking the course can also receive certificates from EDX if they exceed a certain amount of academic activity.
