[Edaily] Altair Korea Provides Hyperworks Software through Cloud

Altair Korea donates 1.5 billion won worth of software to SNU<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

American simulation software/ consulting company Altair’s Korean branch, Altair Korea, has set up work collaborations with the SNU Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering BK21 PLUS Corporation last 15th and has donated 1.5 billion won worth of CAE and 3D Design software to SNU.

The donated software are Altair’s CAE(Computer Aided Engineering) Package ‘Hyperworks’ and the 3D modelling Tool ‘Inspire”. Altair plans to provide licenses to these software for the next 3 years as well as set up internship and education programs related to them.

Altair Korea representative Sung Soo Mun said “What’s important is how the software is used. We have plans to expand software donations for students.”
