Ph.D. student Dae-Young Lee, Masters students Ji Seok Kim, Jongwoo Kim of Professor Kyu Jin Cho’s Biorobotics lab and Undergrad Jung Bin Lee has claimed the Grand Journal Prize with their research titled “Anisotropic tube pattern design to prevent snapping effects in continuous robots” in the 2013 KSPE Fall Conference held in BEXCO Busan from the 30^th of October to the 1^st of November 2013.<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

The above research was done in collaboration with KIST and changed the mechanical characteristics of less invasive surgeries through Laser Machining and analyzed the trends for regarding the matter.
