Professor Man Soo Choi Becomes the First Korean to be Elected President of the International Aerosol Research Assembly (IARA)<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Elected at the IARA Conference Held in Busan…4 Year Term
SNU Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Professor Man Soo Choi has become the first Korean to be elected the president of IARA.
The IARA elected Professor Choi as New President at the 9th IARA Conference held in Busan Vexco from the 28th of last month to the 2nd of this month.
The IARA is the most prestigious international aerosol group with over 17 countries participating, including the US, Germany and Japan. It deals with Nano-dust particle pollution, Health and Hygiene research for respiratory conditions such as SARS and research related to Nano particles. The presidential term is 4 years.
