Last 7^th of May, Professor Byeng Dong Youn of our faculty received a plaque of thanks at the 2015 Power Technology R&D Progress Festival, which was attended by every power industry related groups including the government, companies and institutes.<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

The event, which was held in order to share excellent power technology related R&D progresses and to seek new plans to create energy, was attended by Vice President of the Korea Electric Power Cooperation Kyu Ho Park, Congressman Sang Min Lee, Congressman Byeong Ju Min, CEOs of the KEPCO Group, Head of the Korea Electrical Engineering & Science Research Institute Seung Il Mun, President of the Korea Electric Engineers Association Sang Bong Yoo, Head of the Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials Yong Taek Lim and others including 1000 other people from related organizations. Over a 100 excellent achievements in the power technology sector was displayed at the event, of which the school, research institute, company and other organizations which showed incredible research results were selected and given the plaque of thanks.

Professor Byeng Dong Youn has been working with KEPRI on the research “USC Thermal Power Plant Large Journal Bearing Fault-Symptom Surveillance Method and the Transformer Health Prediction Technology Implementation” and received the plaque of thanks with the exemplary progress made through the building of a devoted and necessary cooperation.
