The 11^th Kyung Ahm Academy Prize ceremony was held at the Nurimaru APEC House, Haeundae, Busan of the 6^th, where SNU ME Professor Man-Soo Choi (engineering sector) and 4 others won a prize of 200million won and a plaque. Professor Hyun-Bae Kang of Inha University Mathematics faculty won the Natural Sciences section, Professor Sung Hee Baek of SNU Life Sciences Faculty won the Life Sciences Section, and Professor Man-Soo Choi of SNU ME won the engineering section. <?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Professor Woo Chang Kim is a national intellect who has been reflecting on Society and Humans, beyond humanities. Professor Hyun-Bae Kan is national representative mathematician who has proved the equality and trueness of the Poly-Szego prediction and the Eshellby prediction, a problem which remained unsolved for over 60 years. Professor Sung Hee Baek is world renowned for her research in the metastasis suppressor gene. Professor Man Soo Choi combined nano-engineering with mechanical engineering and has made a great contribution to the establishment of the nano-mechanical engineering sector.
