Obtained bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in 2000, Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering in 2010, and worked as a postdoctoral Researcher in University of California until 2012 . Between 2000~ 2003, he worked in Hyundai Heavy Industries, and was employed as an assistant professor in February 2013.

His field of research focuses on experimentally measuring, analyzing, and controlling multiphase flow. He is currently researching on bubbly turbulent flow and plans to continue researching on production of superhydrophobic surfaces and 3 dimensional particle image velocimetry.
