The 75th degree conference ceremony for the Department of Mechanical Engineering in 2021 was held at 10 a.m. August 27 at Room 118, Building 301. Forty-seven bachelor's degrees, 16 masters and 32 Ph.D. degrees were awarded at the conference of degrees in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

The 75th Mechanical Engineering Degree Conferment Ceremony was held in the order of • Honorary professor congratulatory message • Academic report (Professor Han Ho Song) • Academic Director (Professor Sung-Hoon Ahn) • Internal and external congratulatory speech (Professor Haecheon Choi, Chairman Kim Yong-il) • Educational Award (Professor Frank Chongwoo Park) • Excellent doctoral dissertation award and highest honor award • Degree conferment was held. In the aftermath of COVID-19,ly the representative students participated in face-to-face, and others throughline real-time streaming through YouTube.

To mark the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Emeritus Professors Sung Tack Ro, Joon Sik Lee, Woo Il Lee, Jang Moo Lee, Jung Yul Yoo, Jongwon Kim, and Kun Woo Lee delivered messages of support through a congratulatory video for the graduates. To improve the non-face-to-face class environment, there was a donation from Chairman Kim Yong-il. Dr. So-Hyun Jeong, Master Dae-Hyeon Kim, and Ho-Young Ko, the representatives of the bachelor's degree, were in charge of the graduate visits.

The best doctoral dissertation award is for those who have obtained a doctoral degree or are expected to acquire a doctorate degree in the current academic year, and are selected after receiving applications and reviewing them by the committee. The recipients of the best doctoral dissertation in the Department of Mechanical Engineering were as follows.
