Professor Yoon Young Kim received Order of Science and Technology Merit, Ungbi Class, at the 2021 Science and ICT Day Ceremony.
Ministry of Science and ICT, Korea Communications Commission, Korea Federation of ICT Organizations, and Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies held the 2021 Science and ICT Day Ceremony at Dongdaemun Design Plaza April 21. The ceremony awarded accomplished individuals in science, technology, and ICT.
Celebrating the 54th Science Day (April 21) and the 66th ICT Day (April 22), individuals with major accomplishments in national research and development and promoting science, technology, and ICT. The overall theme was ‘recovery, tolerance, and progress’ based science, technology, and ICT.
In the Science and Technology Promotion category, a total of 79 individuals were conferred awards by the government: 26 Orders of Merit, 9 Medals of Honor, 20 Presidential Commendations, and 24 Prime Minister’s Commendations.
