Professor Haecheon Choi of SNU Dept. of Mechanical Engineering (Photo) took office as the 65th President of the Korean Society of Mechanical Engineers January 1st, 2021. President Choi was approved as President during the KSME general meeting held December 17th, 2020. His term will expire at the end of this year. President Choi received his Ph. D. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering of Korea and the Presidential Advisory Council Science and Technology, and a fellow of the American Physical Society.
