College of Engineering Tutor/Tutee Recruitment Information for 2023 1st Semester

The 33rd College of Engineering tutors and tutees are selected as follows. Undergraduate students who want to help their juniors follow the class well, and undergraduate students who feel difficulties in their studies and want to receive help from their seniors, please apply.
1. Qualifications
□ Tutor: Those with excellent grades in the subject or undergraduate students with excellent grades
*Must apply for Work Scholarship Type 1 at mysnu by February 3rd.
- Matching 1~3 tutees per tutor.
- Within the College of Engineering, up to two work scholarship activities are allowed
- 4 tutors selected
□ Tutee: Undergraduate or multi-major in Engineering
- Students who want to improve their academic skills through tutoring are also allowed to take a leave of absence
2. Activity period
2023 1st semester [2023. 3. 1 ~ 2023. 8. 31 (6 months)]
3. Subject
Desired courses such as major courses and liberal arts courses in the College of Engineering (subject to application for 1~2 courses per person)
4. Details of activities
※ Even after the end of the regular semester, classes must be discussed between the tutor and the tutee
(Example: Review of tutee's already taken courses or preparation for future classes to be taken, etc.)
5. Tutor Privileges
□ Students who faithfully complete their tutoring activities are awarded a certificate of tutor service under the name of the dean of the College of Engineering.
※ The tutoring courses indicated the certificate are written based the classes conducted during the regular semester
6. Application Documents
□ Tutor: Work scholarship application form (printed out of Mysnu), application form (attachment 2), and transcript of all grades
※ The recommendation of the advisor in the application form is omitted for the time being and submitted, and guidance is given again after selection.
□ Tutee: Application form (Attachment 2)
7. Submission deadline
□ Tutor: Until February 15th (Wednesday)
□ Tutee: Until February 22nd (Wednesday)

*In the event of a tutor or tutee dropout from College of Engineering, he or she can be selected as a tutor or tutee for the 'Curricular Tailored Peer Tutoring Program'
- Activity Period: 2023. March ~ June
- Work allowance: 500,000 won paid twice during the semester for a total of 1,000,000 won
- Work activities: total of 3 hours/week including 2 hours of class, 1 hour of preparation and 1 hour of counseling, / 45 hours or more per semester / mandatory attendance of orientation (once) and workshop (twice).
