Experience Korean customs and manners and learn the Korean language while living in Korean homes. Homestay host families will make you feel at home and also make your life easier in Korea. The Gwanak Homestay Program is a valuable opportunity to promote the understanding of Korea as well as to introduce your culture and traditions to Korean people. [Homestay overview]

■ Short-term homestay
- Duration : Weekends(Fri~Sun/ 3 days)
- Expenses : free
- Services ensured by homestayhosts : Gwanakresidents
- Qualifications for homestayhosts : Accommodations and 3 meals per day

■ Long-term homestay
- Duration : over one month
- Expenses : Will be decided through consent between the Gwanak-guOffice, homestayhosts and guests
- Services ensured by homestayhosts : Private room, More than 1 meal per day
- Qualifications for homestay hosts : Gwanakresidents, Able to speak foreign languages (English, Japanese or Chinese)

* Traditional Korean Culture Experience
- Date & Time: Sat 19 March 2011 (10:00~15:00)
- Cost : None
- Participants: 40 People (hosts and guests) )
- Venue : GwanakEtiquette Center (next to Nakseongdaepark, located near the rear gate of SNU)
- Contents: Traditional wedding experience, Daily manners(wearing Hanbok), Traditional game, Tea etiquette
